ABOUT THE COFFEE

The fascination with the land and the care with coffee plantation are still present in the Paiva family even after 5 generations of coffee growers. Since the XIX century, patriarch João Ferreira cultivated coffee in the city of Santo Antônio do Amparo and all his dedication served as an inspiration for subsequent generations, leading the civil engineer Homero Aguiar Paiva to continue the family history.

Homero acquired from his uncle Fernando Paiva part of the historic and centenary Fazenda Cachoeira, and with the support of his brother and agronomist Renato Paiva, he started planting coffee on his Fazenda Guariroba, named in honor of his maternal grandparents' lands.

Since then, the constant search for excellence and the preservation of the purest traditions are the watchwords of the farm. Homero has the support of his sister Elisa Paiva and brother-in-law Gabriel Lamounier in managing the property. Together, they seek to reinvent themselves every day by investing in innovations, but keeping the family tradition alive.
