From the renowned Central Valley of Costa Rica, a region famous for its balanced and sweet coffees, comes this exceptional natural-processed lot from the Cerro Alto micromill at La Union Farm. While Costa Rica is celebrated for its meticulous honey and washed processing, this lot showcases the country's growing expertise in the natural method. Only the ripest red Catuai cherries were hand-selected and dried slowly on raised beds, allowing the beans to absorb the rich, fruity sweetness of the pulp. This careful process results in a cup that is vibrant and complex, diverging from the typical clean profile of the region. It offers a syrupy body with intense notes of red fruits and jam, supported by a deep sweetness and a pleasant chocolatey finish.
